MGM Grand Detroit

MGM still has that room with quarter and dollar 9/7 DB, on the second floor.
Go up the escalator. make a U-turn to the left, and go past the buffet
entrance. But that's not the best game in the house. If you can find the slot club
window on the main floor (at the farthest end of the building from where
you'll walk in from the self-park), look to the left of that window on the other
side of the wall. There you will find the quarter 9/7 DB progressives against
the back wall. 11 MG TITO machines, and the DB is the best of the bunch.

Traveling from Vegas to Michigan at the end of the month for a
wedding. When I lived in Michigan, the MGM had a nice VP area on the
second floor, with all sorts of newer VP games. Even though the
paytables are probably weak, I don't mind on a short term trip. But I
also seem to recall that some of the quarter multi-game machines had
9/7/5 Double Bonus.

Looking for an update. I have no interest in visiting Greektown or the
Motor City.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like the place is exactly like I left
it 4 or so years ago. I always liked playing in that 2nd floor VP
area; it was mostly civilizied, and I seem to recall there was a
small counter bar in the room.
