I have seen this type of nickel Multi-Strike where even if you bet the full
100 coins the royal is only 250-1. At Trump in Gary IN this is true and the
triple double bonus will pay 800-1 for 4 aces + low and 400-1 for 4 twos,
threes and fours + low but only 250-1 for the RF no matter how many coins
are bet. Also have seen 45 coin nickel game that the first nine coins are
300-1 on the royal (like those 20 coin Detroit games) but full pay on 10-45
coins. Other ripoffs now are multi line double double bonus and super ace
games where 4 fives through kings pay 40-1 instead of 50. Always check the
pay table before you play!!!

At the Mohegan Sun, there are 45-coin max bet $1 machines. The first
thing you do is sit down, press MAX BET, and when you get a high pair and
it pays you 45 coins, you sit there wondering if you missed a full house,
when in reality, you bet $45! BUT the Royal pays $4000 for a $5 bet.
OTOH, at Viejas Casino in San Diego, if you are playing multistrike poker
and you aren't betting 100 coins per hand (4 hands, 25 coins per hand), the
royal is merely 250 x number of coins bet. I won't play these machines
because of this awful feature. It doesn't make sense because the Super
Aces paytable in the Multistrike Game will pay 2000 coins for 4 Aces on 5
coins, but only 1250 for a RF!!!!

"non-standard" features on VP games that I make it a
practice to examine the machine thoroughly--and
especially the payscale--before I slip any money in.I can't count the number of times a bank of machines
that look identical at first glance has had 1 or 2
"oddballs" in there with something different about
them (almost always to the player's detriment). And
I'm not so sure the casinos do this "unknowingly".carlos
