On Thursday morning around 10 AM the 3 $1 5-10 9/6 JB machines outside the
high limit area were shut down at the MGM Grand. Around 3 PM 2 techs were
working on the machines. Later that day there were back up but the paytable was
now 8/5. There was a shopping spree weekend from Thursday to Sunday so I
was hoping that it might be temporary but it now seems to be a systemwide
degrading of the paytables. There are now 8 $5 9/6 JB in the high-limit area on
the far left as you enter. They are connected to a progressive royal but it
increases very slowly (about 2.5 cents per $25 deal). Someone might want to
check to see if they are still shorted.
