Mike mentioned that 8 hours of play generated no food comps. Here is the brief summary of comps at MGM:
1) Winning definitely reduces and/or eliminates comps
2) If you have a comp balance, play a little, and then ask for the comp, it may not be there. Your current day's play will affect your comp balance.
3) Get your comp before you play. Even better, get your comp and use your comp before you play.
4) Use MGM comps as soon as you can. They are use them or lose but MGM will not give the conditions on how you lose them.
MGM is going with " Comps are a gift from us so we can do what we want". They are also doing very well in the market share area. I see no reason to give MGM a penny's worth of play. They have taken lessons from Harrahs on how to spit on your best customers.
On a different note, is anyone interested in a December VP Free meet? I propose December 17 ( Wednesday) at 6:30 at the VP progressive bar at Greektown on the second floor. Dinner at 7 at a place to be named. If I have 5 confirmations by 12/12/08 it will be a go. Otherwise, we will try next year.?
