My reply is slightly XVP. I was in an ATV Poker Run over Labor day and when
it came time to sort out a 5 card hand out of 11-15 cards, 6 out of the 8
people in my group could not pick the correct cards. I helped everyone make the
best possible hand and 2 ended up in the 2nd and 5th place for generous prizes
including cash. What really bothered me was the lady who was running the booth.
She was telling people they had 3OAK when they had a FH. She even told my
friend that if there was another low diamond, she would have a flush. Well, I
spotted another diamond and it was the Jack to finish off the 7 8 9 & 10 of
diamonds for a SF that took 2nd place. I hope the lady wasn't doing this on purpose,
but I couldn't help to notice how many people really don't know a poker hand.
