Met Jean Scott last night!

I was playing NSUD at Caesar's last night and Jean and her husband
were playing on the other side of the bank. They were warm and
friendly, as expected from her posts and books. They also seem to
enjoy playing a lot more than most advantage players I've met. They
are having fun!
They are good luck as well. I hit a royal and they congratulated me,
not through clenched teeth. A Jean Scott certified royal! I thought of
titling this post "I got lucky with Jean Scott"

congratulations!

Brad says he doesn't care how many people get lucky with me on a VP machine. He just has the monopoly on FITR.

So that's why you two kids left early!

I'm almost afraid to ask what "FITR" stands for. It doesn't seem to be
in the vpFREE Glossary.

Actually, I see it in the glossary. http://members.cox.net/vpfree/Gloss.htm#FITR

That's interesting because we were at CP Saturday night for dinner. Our granddaughter and her husband were in town and we decided to see if we really could salvage our Connection comps after the merger. We went to the Palace Casino (planned to eat at Cafe Lago). I told the three of them to have fun while I dealt with the total rewards booth (they now have a nice big TR booth in the Palace Casino as well as the big one in the Forum Casino). There was no line to speak of, but it took me a long time and two people to finally get everything straightened out. But even though it took a long time, they were extremely nice. I expressed serious doubts when it first came out to basically zero comps, the lady immediately called for help and the guy who took over got it all straightened out. All our comps got rolled over but ended up on my TR account. We both got new generic (doesn't say Harrah's or Caesars) Diamond cards.
Here's the rest of the story:
At one point the booth lady told me I needed Marie's ID. So I walked over to the machine we was playing. I was rather surprised to see she had been dealt 9TJQA of Clubs. My Grandaughter's husband (he plays blackjack recreationally), was telling her to draw for the straight flush since it was open! My Granddaughter was telling her to keep the flush. Marie was saying no, no, no, when I walked up. She said "honey, tell them what the right play is." I told them "She's gotta ditch the nine." She did, and of course the king popped up, the kids started screaming, and my wait for the slot club fixes became much more fun. They were still yelling when I got back to the slot club. Dinner was great, BTW. What a hoot!
Skip.

Hope it was the top row of a multistrike;-) So they lost your comps, but
had all that you had coming rolled over into TR before you left? If so
there is some hope for my account. My comps were still not showing up on TR
so I called today. I took note of exactly how many I had before the change
over because I have had problems with the Connection account several times
previously. I'll check back in a day or two to see if they have reappeared.
