Scot,
At the Casablanca, you get 1 point for every $10 played. 1,000 points
equals $40 in comps...so that comes to .4% in comps...not bad at all!

Their gourmet restaurant "Katherines" is very good.
Their Coffee shop is terrible.
Their buffet is OK for breakfast (fresh made omelets), but not for
dinner.

Other amenities include a Spa (excellent) and Beauty Salon
(average)...you can use your points to pay for the services.
Gift shop is above average.

Today, the only playable game if $.25 FPDW...they just added a
progressive on the Royal...I think they may also have Pick'em...but
not sure of the paytable...everything else is short pay..best of the
rest is NSUD up to $2 and on spin poker...I was there this past
weekend...using up points earned when they had (past tense) FP Joker
($1,000 Royal) on the spin poker in all denominations $.05, $.10,
$.20 and $.25.

Regulars get 5x point coupons...so we plan our trips accordingly.

Absolutely NO cashback. All comps.

So is that a good thing or a bad thing? Some consider no cash back at
the Palms or Stations to be just fine and seem to actually prefer it.

Station rewards with mailed free play as does Palms. Fiesta sends
coupons for cash.

I played for 4 hours at the CasaBlanca on spin poker 25c jokers.
Generated (along with my wife) $118 of Comps. How in the world do you
spend that when you are earning almost $30 an hour. How much food can
you eat, etc? Regular players must have 100's if not 1,000's of comps
to spend. The gift shop is exhorbitant and you can only eat so much.
It is also far enough away that you are not likely to go there except
when you are playing.

THE SPA!!!!!! Some people use it for golf and horseback riding as well.
However, a nice massage to relieve the tension in the shoulders from playing
those machines sure is nice.
