I am wanting to send an email to, I assume the FTC, expressing my
concern that the merger of Harrah's and Park Place will have a
negative effect on the competition in the gaming business--expressing
my concern about how eliminating the competition will downgrade the
available gambling opportunities at these properties. I am sure that
this group appreciates this part of the merger problem much better
than the government decision makers. I am guessing that they are
looking at the hotel aspect of this and completely ignoring the anti-
competition implications as far as the gambling is concerned. I have
not been able to determine to whom these comments should be
addressed. Any help out there??
