I very rarely post anything negative here, other than cheap shots at casinos
and their management. Some may have noted that I stayed completely out of
the recent Dancer / Boyd brouhaha. But this one tripped my trigger.
My folks asked me to take Mensa & IQ tests when I was 16. Blew right
through them, no problem, results came back in the 160 range - but who cares?
"Pumpkin is to Halloween like Tinsel is to....." - give me a break! Afterwards,
we figured out that the Mensa organization seemed like an elitist, snobbish
group with the attitude that they were the Anointed Ones looking down on
everyone else from their thrones. I never pursued it beyond that point.
I'll happily remain a member of the "hoi polloi", thank you very much.
