If you are lucky enough not to miss the lights at Harmon and Paradise or TROP and Paradise you might just do it by taxi for $6,but from thr the airport with the added airport fee of $1.20 on top of the outrageous $2.70 flag drop and the high waiting time costm and it being longer from the airport your fare will be closer to $8 if you don't miss lights and $9 if you do. Use the #108 to and from, schedule at www.catride.com

   A cab ride from the airport to the Hard Rock take's about 5 minutes and cost's about $6. Its better than playing the crap in the airport, and you'll probably make up the difference with less in gambling losses.

We paid $6 (plus a $2 tip) when we did it in October. If they raised the fare's since then, I dont know.
   It was just a suggestion. Thats what I would do with a couple hour's at the airport to kill. But its each persons own choice.

The VP machines in the airport sucks! However, in the short term,
like your 2 hours, anything can happen and 'full pay' is not as
important. For example the last time we were in McCarran my wife
dropped 5 quarters in a "sucks" VP machine and cashed out $75 a few
minutes later.

You fork out your money and take your chances.
