The best airport games are the NSUD that pay 15 for 5k, 9 for a sf at 98.9%, no comps, but also(except in the smoking lunges)smoke free. If you take a taxi elsewhere you are ripped off before you start. $2.70 flag drop, $1.20 airport fee and you haven't gone anywhere and once you start moving the $22/hr time fee when you are stopped at lights (in 20 cent increments) plus the regular $1.80/mile means that you would have to get mighty lucky just to recoup this.
If you have time the #108 goes within 2 blocks of Terrible's leaving the airport and across th estreet returning. Runs every 1/2 hr until 8pm, then every 45". Schedules at www.catride.com
But I have learned to avoid the airport machines with a simple rule that if there isn't a club, don't play. I will admit that playing under no smoking conditions is tempting though. You might try browsing thru the gaming book selection at the bookstore on the main concourse, visiting the mini museum of flight neaby. If you are a member of 24' fitness they have a gym in the airport, too.
Years ago (may be it still exists) they had a paid shower faciility ($7.50 at the time)which included soap, towels, shaving items, lotions, etc with no real time limit. It was downstairs near the ticket counters in about the middle. Still there, don't know?
Hope this helps
