MB Question.

I know this might be a hopeless question, but if you stay at Mandalay
Bay for a few days, what would you play to recycle $12,000 and get
the room free one night free? I see they have 9/6 DB progressives,
not too promissing. What else? Maybe one should just pay for the room
at MB, and drown the sorrows on all those exotic Vodkas at Red
Square. Thanks in advance for any useful replies.

Ed, my choice here is to just pay for the damn room.

I'm a little skeptical at the $12K/night room comp requirement
reported in the casino database here. All I know was that after
putting in about $9K over two days (with a paid room) the slot desk
was only hesitantly willing to offer up a comp for two buffets.

A room for $12K seems like quite stretch from that.

The 12K/night is an average figure, and is based on a JUL 2002 survey.

Current experiences are always welcome and will be reflected
in the DataBase.

Although the MB is a nicwe looking resort the ave guest rooms are
over priced and the walls are not at all sound proofed. I asked some
construction buddies of mine from the insulation and sound proofing
local and they said steel wall stud construction with 1 layer of
yellow fiber bat and no sound insulation at all in the walls of the
regular guest room. I thought this sounded about right because we
could here the guy next door snore all night long.

for the price you can get a much better room and have better games
anyway.
