I am new to laughlin (trips) and will be there may 8-12, staying at
Harrahs. Any info on worthwhile promotions during that time??
I play $1 and up, so $10k in coin in is very attainable, too bad I
cant make it before the EW loyalty is over.

Jim, Have you reached Diamond level yet? Harrahs Laughlin has a very
low level fast track to Diamond program. If you put through $18K in one
day, you can reach Diamond level. I did it last month with the help of
Bluestreak. We celebrated in the Diamond Lounge. With your buddy along,
I would think you should have no trouble making it.

Actually I am a 7* at Harrahs, but the friend I took in march did go
diamond when we were there, thanks for the info. I was not impressed
with the Laughlin diamond lounge, kind of small and such a low
ceiling, although the bartenders were some of the nicest ones I have
ever met (could have something to do with 7*), they even started
carrying a dark beer after I said I could get it out on the floor. I
hope it is still there when I get out there in May. If anyone will be
around may 9-11, we can meet to eat/drink/visit.
