You missed the point. My rancor is with the system not the casino. Remember I
started the post by saying:
"I DON'T LIKE TRIP AVERAGE SYSTEMS"
I think the whole concept is bad for players except for the few who can spend
a lot of time working the system. Most players will never get full value for
the comps they've earned under trip-average vs a banking system (comps earned
stay in the bank until used).
Although the casino could have cut me some slack due to my history there,
technically they were right. This is where trip-average systems hurt because old
unused comps earned more than 6 trips ago drop out of the system and I had a
lot of old unused comps. If you don't mind spending the time schmoozing &
twisting arms, you can use the past "goodwill" earned on those old trips to
negotiate for what you want. For some people this is a hobby that they've become good
at. It's not where I want to spend my time.
As for my reluctance to name the casino, I have an indirect way of doing
things which takes more time than most people because I like to create a win-win
situation. Naming the casino could upset the progress that I've made so far as
I'm only a third of the way through my repair plan.
