It's been my experience that you won't get any additional comps at the V
until you play upwards of 30K/day.

Yup. And I find it far more beneficial to take that extra $20K to
somewhere else like Treasure Island, across the street, or the like.
You'd think V. might get a clue. (No complaining here, though!)

Usually played abt 13K one day per stay. Stayed there last March and played
just over 20K one day. Since then I have not gotten any mailed offers from
them but have had calls from VIP people wanting to set me up, but not with
as good offers as I used to get in the mail. I wonder if by playing 20K+ one
day I went over some threshold and the player development people want to
take over?
I have tried by e mail and phone calls for 3 months to get back on the
mailing list to no avail. I always get some run around abt needing to stay
there more to get mailed offers which I know is bull because it didn't
apply to me before and doesn't apply to others I know now.
I'm stumped.

Who knows what evil lurks in the minds of the marketing personnel. We
used to get offers from the V (and have stayed there a couple times)
but nada for the past 10 or 11 months. Guess business has picked up
and they don't have to put up with us pikers any longer. Same story
with the B, but the Fremont still loves us.

I have found that V. has no problem getting the
following 1) retail customers to pay min $199 / night
for rooms plus buy all their meals, etc. 2) Credit
Line players min $15 /20K - folks in the middle don't
seem to get the attention /offers/ comps they deserve.
With 13 - 20K coin thru per day, plenty of other
casinos would more than welcome you with tons of
offers.
