maximizing room offers in Vegas

One place that sends out lots of room offers is Harrahs Las Vegas. They
have different promotions nearly every weekend, and sometimes 2 of them. Play
2000 points on one day to earn Diamond ($20,000 through) and you should start
the promotional mailings rolling (they may take a couple of months to start).
Best play - $1 or $5 9/6 JB, or triple play 9/6 JB. Also available, 8/5
Bonus Poker in $1/$5.

If you want a lot of room nights, play for 1 day in one place, then the next
day in another place. Caesars Palace has lots and lots of 9/6 JB, ranging
from quarter Spin Poker, single line quarter/$1, triple/5 play quarter, fifty
cent, $1, and up. Run $10,000-20,000 through in one day and that should get
some offers started.

Flamingo Hilton has a lot of offers, but only $5 JB. I don't think there
are any quarter 9/6 machines left. Reel players might want to try their
Blazing 7s or other machines.

Monthly offers still show up for Stardust Players. They may still have some
triple play $1 9/6 (I'm not sure - haven't been there in awhile).

Paris has 9/6 $1 JB. Promos probably will come after $15,000 in a day or up
play.

Venetian has some $1, $5 JB. Try $10,000 in a day or more to get on promo
list - this might be enough. $15,000-20,000 definitely should do it. If you
play enough to get to Gold Club level you'll get extra cashback, but you'll
need to put through more than $10,000. With more play you get offers for
better slot tournaments. At least the rooms are suites.

Best address is non-local Vegas, except for Venetian which sometimes mails
special $ coupons to Vegas locals. Harrahs also sends $ coupons like play 100
points and get $50 to Vegas locals, but your offers for rooms and other
promos may be less than nonlocals (or maybe not - who can figure out Harrahs!).

How much money is really $10,000 in play thru a machine? How much play do you get per $100? Has heard of casino's comping airline tickets?

Thank you everyone for your reply?

Just to give some insight for a low roller at The Venetian, I have

been playing at The Venetian occasionally since last September and I
only play the $1 JOB for about two hours per day.
I have received the following differnt types of offers:

1. Tournaments with free rooms, no play requirements have to be met,
in order to not be charged for your room.
2. Offers for free rooms that have the disclaimer if I don't make my
play I'll have to pay for the room (a discount rate, but still over
$100/night.)
3. Birthday Offer (The best one!) Free room, $75 slot credit, $75
food no play requirements, no play means no more offers though.

So far, I've only taken the birthday offer, but I still made my play
requirement. I'm playing in their VP tournament next week for the
first time.

I'm also wondering since I've never ask for any other comps there,I
usually put through about 150 points per day, which is $7500 coin in.
Can I charge say a modest meal to my room and still get something
taken off? Or should I not ask and just keep hoping for more room
offers?

Any advice would be helpful.
