My wife and I play often at a casino that has many bonuses. These
include 100 coin card of the day, 100 coin strait flush suit of the
day, 500 coin royal suit of the day, and double pay on sequential
royals. Using WinPoker or Frugal Video poker it is east to build these
bonuses into any non-wild card machine to see the payback percentage.
Well, my wife has found a dollar duces wild machine that has given her
2 royals and 2 4duces in the last 5 days, with less than $500
investment. The machine analizes to about 99% without the bonuses. The
paytable is 4000, 1000, 125, 75, 45, 20, 20, 15, 10, 5. The natural
royal fulsh added pay is easy to calculate. I an having a problem
calculating the following:
1. Double pay on royals also applies to wild card royals. How many
combinations are there for wild royals, and of those, how many would
be in sequence?
2. How many straight flush combinations are there, and of those how
many are natural (no wilds).
3. On 4 and 5 of a kind hands, how many total combinations are there
of each, and how many of the combinations would have no wilds (all
naturals).
Just to be clear, we get paid on this duce machine 100 coins on a
natural 4oak in the card of the day. We get paid 100 coins on a
natural SF in the suit of the day, we get paid 125 extra on a wild
sequential royal, NO extra pay for a suit of the day wild royal.
We have been very lucky at this casino over the last 5 years. We have
each had a sequential natural royal, and 6 out 7 times between us have
had birthday royals for double pay.
Any ideas on how to calculate the value of the bonuses would be
greatly appreciated.
