Added commentary here, only my opinion, but why would anyone go to this casino? There is no atmosphere. It is located in the parking lot of Arundel Mills mall, next to a Costco and WalMart. The Mills malls are huge, sprawling malls on the east coast that have daily traffic issues on their own, then you add thousands of people pouring into the casino, now the traffic is impossible. I dread to think of how it will be from mid November to New Years with holiday traffic. A freakin' nightmare. Bottom line - nothin' pretty here.
Then once inside, you must worry about your vehicle since carjackings have occurred here, many many thefts and robberies, so many that now in the mall parking lots, there are big cranes set up with enclosed boxes so security can view the massive mall area from a vantage point and report to the officers on the ground. That in itself is enough to wonder, why would anyone want to go? They are basically advertising with those cranes that this is not the safest area to be in.
You will also find that there are no perks here, all drinks even sodas cost money, no complimentaries. Deliberately to get this casino approved, they promised that alcoholic beverages would be so expensive to discourage drunks, yet they forget that DC/Balto Metro area is nothing but fat cats with incredible incomes who don't care if drinks are $10-$20 each, they will not be 'discouraged' by those prices, and will tip mighty heavily to get near-exclusive attention from a cocktail waitress. For the regular folks, this makes cocktail waitresses near impossible to find, the wait is long for drinks at the couple of bars they do have, hence the no-drunks-in-this-casino attitude only applies to the masses.
The dealers are all novices, trained by the STATE, not private companies like in NV, and I don't know how else to say this but they advertised that dealer schools are open mainly to the 'disadvantaged', so take from that what you will. "Customer Service" is non-existent since the place is so packed all the time by the ploppies that the casino has no incentive to offer extra staff, the "build it and they will come" attitude is prevalent. If you are looking for an exciting experience, this is the last place you should go. Table minimums $25 middle of week and $50+ weekends.
Do you know that the state takes 70% of GROSS receipts right off the top? Yes, about 48% goes to Maryland education (though it has been clearly exposed that there is no direct wording in the bill that they money must be spent that way) then approx. 20% of GROSS receipts goes to special interest groups that had to be included to get the votes. After operating overhead, local taxes, licensing fees, and other obscure additives, there is 7%-10% leftover for actual payouts. How much of that do you think you yourself will actually win??

I basically agree with the first three paragraphs but disagree significantly with the last two.
My understanding is that the casinos operate their own training schools for dealers. However, the licensing requirements were relaxed some for people who had convictions that were old -- over ten years ago.
I also believe you have the numbers wrong for the tax rate. The tax on the win is 67% and that is divided between education, horse racing and other funds. That rate will be reduced when the casino in Price Georges County opens for Maryland Live and the casino that Harrahs is building in Baltimore. In addition, it is important to realize that presently the state supplies the actual machines (slot and video poker) to the casinos. It is planned that the casinos will start buying their own machines and that will result in a reduction of the tax rate by another 8%.

I don't think you are missing much.
In all honesty, it is just a large box with row after row of slot machines. I have found the buffet to be ordinary. And the other restaurants are as expected (Cheesecake Factory and like) with long lines. The place can be very crowded in evenings and weekends.
