Not that it matters too
much, but did they do away with the bartop progressives? What about the
bartops at the Mississippi Lounge? It sounds like the new slot club
needs some further clarification after July 1 st.Did you hear any feedback from the staff and the current customers? I
am just afraid that most of the customers are just interested in what
is going on. Give them an upgrade from a 50 watt bulb to a 75 watt
bulb and a little glitter, and they think things are wonderful.

Progressives- the quarter meters were still at the bars in CB/EW. I got to
track the O' Aces one, which was clicking away at 1%. I was the only one at
the bar so it was easy to gauge. Trouble is the 98% base or worse games.
Not much interaction with staff and other players. Brian, daytime bartender
at O'Aces was showing off the new boozes he can pour. He can comp better
stuff now. No new beers yet though.
The two positive things I noticed were:
Boiler Room went to Thirsty Tues-Weds-Thursday now, so .75 gets you a
homebrew.
The Craps game actually got better at CB. It was $3 min, but with Strip odds
(3X/4X/5X). Used to be just Double odds.
Another bad- the longstanding overlay twice weekly $1,500 BJ tourney at EW
is history.
