MANNY IS BACK

To all who are interested and have been asking,

Manny formerly of Red Rock is now back. He began this week at the Palms. For those of you who may not know Manny....he is without question the best host that Las Vegas has to offer. He left Red Rock after internal managment changes left him virtually powerless to take care of his people the way they had become accustomed to. After a short sabbatical away from hosting and spending quality time with his family....he has now arrived at the Palms.

We spoke to him today and he is ready to serve all of his former clients and any new ones that read this blog. Manny was excellent to us at Red Rock. We virtually stopped playing until he found a new home. We let our 7 stars at Harrahs expire and have also let our Chairman level at Red Rock expire. We will now play almost exclusively at the Palms.

Red Rock's loss is our gain!!

Manny's cell phone number is 702-277-2108.

Thanks and good luck to all!!

SO and I are not high rollers. Does he cater to the mid roller gamblers? Along that line, received an offer from Red Rock and there was no mention of 'contacting your casino host'. Has RR done away with the hosts?

Red Rock still have hosts, it just that they too are controlled by specific management persons that only look at the bottom line and have no concept to reality and what serious players look for in hosts provisions. We left Red Rock because of these specific managers...could name names but will not.

I do not know what level is required or desired to have a host at the Palms. I do know when we first met Manny by inadvertent phone contact when I first called Red Rock; we too were not high rollers and just wanted a place to stay for the night. Manny's accommodations, service and general great guy attitude was a direct result in us deciding to keep returning to Red Rock and becoming Chairman level. This lasted for over two years until his hands were tied by corporate managers who do not have a clue about players and host relationships.

I recommend you give Manny a call and introduce yourself and tell him what your interest are....he will find a way to take care of you.

Trust me when I say, if Vegas had a "Vegas Walk of Fame" and a "Grauman Chinese Theatre" Manny would have both a STAR and Handprints!!!

Thx and good luck!!

Does anyone know his hours? I have some idea of some of the names you are thinking of specific to Manny, but Red Rock has lost a ton of Chairman players and that is from direction from Station corporate - so let's name names because it comes right from the top- Kevin Kelly the COO does not want high limit slot players and he and his team and I could name them too, but nobody would recognize them - are all in on it - at Red Rock now if you play $50 a month at video keno you will get more stuff than putting in $500,000 in video poker - makes sense to them. It might be unfair to say they don't want high limit, they will take the action, but they won't even give comp you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for it - so why play there?

They have not done away with hosts, but they are working on it - beside Manny, they canned Matt Sacca now at Aria, Phil Lam now at Rio, Kara Montarella now at M, John Trovato who has not landed yet and maybe some others I forget. There were no management changes that did this - RJ is new, but RJ is not the problem - all the problems come from the same corporate management that was there two years ago - Kevin Kelly and his team - their solution to the economic problem is blame the customer.

You are giving them to much credit to say they only look at the bottom line. They are a business they should look at the bottom line -their problem is they can't calcuate the bottom line - they are mind fixed with expense reductions without any conception of how expense reductions might lead to revenue reductions and a smaller bottom line. Their budgeting is cut expenses to the bone and assume static revenue and when the revenue goes down blame the economy not the service and comp cuts for driving off business.

Kara Montanarella is no longer at the M Resort. Does anyone know where she went, if she is still a host ?
Also looking for info on what deuce machines they have at the M Resort, I know the FP Deuces are gone. Thanks
