Making the grade

Last month I made "Platinum" level at Casino Niagara (5000 points).

My offers so far have included a free suite whenever I visit, an invitation for complimentary
tickets to any of the up coming shows + $200.00 a month in food comps (better than the
measly $50.00 a month at the Gold level) plus the "kickback cash" four times a month (last
month $150.00 X 4) plus the cashback I earn. On my last visit (roughly 8 hours playing time)
I mostly played FP PKM at the .50c level in the older casino and a little bit of the progressive
slots and table games at at the new, where I was staying. Though I still have yet to get a 4 of
a kind or better on PKM in Niagara, I managed to rack up 450 points and still come out
ahead, which is a rarity.

This is very useful information, thanks for posting.
I am a Gold level player at the Old Casino and am thinking of going for he Platinum level myself.
Is you home casino the old casino ?
I have noticed that all my offers are strictly good at the old casino only, and was wondering if the Platinum level
included things like shows at the new casino.

It seems that my "home" casino is the new one..however that should not make a
difference as both casinos honour any of the coupons or comps. If you call Fallsview
casino marketing and ask for a room comp at the new casino, you should have no problem
at the Gold level. Back in May I got a beautiful suite for two nights for free overlooking the
falls and only put on several hundred points on my card. Forget about getting any other
kind of comps over what they offer (rooms,shows..etc) , hower if they have the space, it
seems they have no problem comping you the room. I have never had any problem
especially at the Gold level.
I had a spectacular meal the last time at 17 Noir thanks to my $200.00 comp
and the time before a very good one at the steak house in the old casino when I was Gold
on my $50.00 .
I avoid the buffet in the new casino as in my opinion, it isn't very good except for
breakfast. Today I also received an invitation for free tickets to any of their August shows.
Mind you I was also getting that at the Gold level too.

Hope this helps!

PS: I saw Petula Clark for free a few months ago from the VIP section in the showroom (The
Avalon Ballroom). It has a small bar where you must purchase the alcohol (asinine
backward LCBO rules) however they put on a spectacular free hors d'oeuvres buffet.
There were only about twelve guests there which I gathered were a mix of Gold and
Platinum players. I innocently had called Casino marketing at the Fallsview and asked if
could get a room comp for one night and who could I talk to about purchasing a couple of
show tickets for the show. I was put on hold and a couple of minutes later told that
everything had been looked after. It really was a great night and a great show. I guess I got
the comps because sadly Petula didn't sell out. I don't have a host, haven't met one and
really don't want to as I believe in ducking under the radar and don't want the pressure of
expectation. However it seems if you ask at the right time, you get.
