Majestic's bank of 8 $.25 IGT uprights (non-TITO) is out of commision
as of 2/1. They are roped off and are awaiting "upgrade" parts. I was
told by one of their techs that this upgrade should have already
taken place were it not for the parts delay. If you were a regular on
these machines you might wish to call the slots/vp host for status
before your next visit.
Majestic update
As of 2/6 they seem to be back in commission again. Let me qualify
that appropriately. 
At least 4 of these machines have broken bill feeders and therefore
take only coins, about half have problems with the buttons which
either stick, are unresponsive, or on some occasions pop right out.
Many of these machines also have seriously degraded video to the point
of affecting your eyes over time. Thanks for the "upgrade", Majestic.
Fortunately I discovered that Majestic has at least one IGT $.25
Multi-Strike machine with full pay schedules. Having read Bob Dancer's
article

was quite intrigued and eager to give this a try. After getting over
the initial anxiety of dealing with this game's nuances I became quite
captivated and found it hard to leave my seat. Good thing I kept after
it because I concluded the evening with 4 Queens in the 8X multiplier.
A most satisfactory conclusion to an evening that had been tinged with
the above "upgrade" experience.
