Majestic Star

One screwy situation, I saw a number of years ago was that Harrah's E. Chicago had a bank of $1 DB machines with no posted pay table below 4 of a kind. These old IGT slant tops often have a strip attached to the top of the glass at other houses (including Harrah's Joliet) to show the pay table because the game had insufficient lines available to display the DB pay table. Other games at that house for deuces were likewise but for those, I asked the house to toggle the pay table to be visible. I have seen that situation at Harrah's St. Louis also.

Note: There is no excuse for the house not properly maintaining their equipment. Don and Mikes gets so little play compared to the rest of that house.

personally, i do much better at trump than at MJ. that goes for the games with the same pay schedules. the indiana gaming board has a website. there is nothing on their site as to the randonness of video poker . i have e-mailed then twice with a question on this subject and have received no response.

of five days over two months). We played mostly in Don and Mikes
this weekend because the progressive was nearing $4800. We failed
miserably. We played Bonus poker (attempting to make up some
previous losses. Lots of garbage hands and few quads. I had four in
about four hours of VP while my wife had only one (non-bonus. The
bar was sticky and the machine buttons are getting hard to press.
MS needs to do a little more clean up all the way around on the
machines. I understand the frequency tables but it sure seems we're
playing a lot of hands with large losses. The bar area is cold, but
the second floor area is warmer and offers a lot of machines. I
just have a hard time playing for $4000 when I can play for $4800.
I'm going to ask for a room comp for the 4th of July and we'll see
how the comps work. We both played over 1000 points each day so I
hope we can at least get a room. We stopped in at Trumps before we
left but it was busy, smoky, and the machines were lower pay tables.
Am I understanding everyone that while Trumps has lower pay tables
folks seem to be winning more? We like the comfort of MS, but maybe
we'll play a couple of hundred at Trumps next time and see if we get
less garbage or at least play a little longer on each bill. Good
luck to all!!

That's actually quite common with the older vp machines found
predominantly in downtown Las Vegas. I will no longer give these
places any action as these machines are simply too slow.

Note: There is no excuse for the house not properly maintaining

their equipment. Don and Mikes gets so little play compared to the
rest of that house.

And they may get even less play in the future if OEJ continues to
consistently produce deals all day long that consist of at most 2
cards of the same suit.
Although I caught a Royal in 5-Play NSUD today, it was not enough to
dent the deficit racked up by a day of getting nothing in OEJ.

BTW, I finally got around to stopping at Trump to check out their vp.
I don't think I ever saw more trash assembled in one place. Sure, they
have new games, but at completely outrageous pay tables. People would
be better off to just mail a cheque to Trump and play WinPoker vp on
their home PC!
