I went to the Majestic Star last Sunday. Had gotten a letter that I
could pick up my Super Star card. Tried to pick it up but they were
out of cards. Got a temporary one. Played all day with gusto. I
got 3200 points that day. 5000 is the qualifier for Super Star
status.
I had not been to the Star in a few months. I live over 40 miles
away and have to drive thru Chicago and lots of construction going
on. It is quite a stressful drive.
Went to the Steakhouse at 6:30pm and I was told there would be a
forty five minute wait. Evidently with the super star you can get a
comped
dinner for 2. I had been waiting about 30 minutes and peeked in the
dining room and half the tables were empty........
Finally seated and had dinner. When I asked to take dessert home I
was
told there were no takeouts.
If there was better video poker elsewhere they would never see me
again. I had stayed in their hotel 6 months ago and never again. I
fought with the gnats all night over my soda.
