Majestic Star new games

For Super X Pay take the game's normal return then multiply by 18.05 then divide by 18. For 9-6 Jacks it is 99.8204%
NSUD would in theory be just over at 100.0053%

On average you hit the multiplier once in 15 hands. If you get the average those 15 hands will cost you 18 units. An average multiplier is 4.05 so you get an extra 3.05 on average thus the numerator is 15+3.05=18.05.

One Multi-Strike, two Spin Poker, two 100 play, one Super X Pay and one

One disturbing trend with all of these is that they are MD

(5c/10c/25c) and

you need to play for 25c to get full pay games.
8-5 Super Aces and NSUD available (and all the other MS full pay games
except DB2s, 2PJkr, TP+ and OEJ) on 100 play and Spin Poker for

quarters.

(I suspect that the 1c 100 play is going to be as crowded as ever!)

Paytables on Multi-Strike are the same as those in the Don and Mike bar.
(For vp_nbi, you are right, no 10c game better than IL deuces on any

of the

games. If you can stand looking at smaller cards you can effectively

play

3/5/10 etc. play 25c NSUD and 8-5 Super Aces more machines than the one
previously available.)
Super X Pay for quarters has 9-6 jacks on 3/5 and 10 play. Ditto for

10-6

bonus.

How much does the random multiplier boost the payback above FP JOB?
Obviously it must be better, I'm wondering if any data exists on how
much better it is.

Thanks. At 99.82% JOB isn't all that bad even though it's boring. The
plusses are it's easy to play and has low variance. A dealt Royal with
the 10x multiplier in 10 play would make up for more than a few
dryspells.

It almost happened! After winning at OEJ I decided to take another
stab at Super X Pay. Decided to take it slow at first and just play
JOB at 5 coins. Ten minutes later I'm dealt 4 to the Royal. I draw and
one of the ten draws hits! Now that I'm significantly up I decide to
bet 6 coins. The 8x multiplier decides to make an appearance on trip
fives. Four of the held trips morph into quads. I also got a visit
from 10x on 2 pair which was quite lucrative as well. I eventually hit
a dry spell and decided to bag it, but it was a very profitable Super
X Pay session indeed. Howard, I take it all back it's not such a bad
game after all!

Incidentally that was my first Royal in 2 months. Although I'm
squeaking out victories in OEJ it has been without Royals. I'm getting
a little annoyed over doing my part to fund the jackpots only to see
them disappear on the weekends. Undoubtedly hit by someone who fired a
few coins in just for the hell of it.

I went through the calculations on my own and arrived at almost the
same result. I get .998165 vs. your .998204. Not sure where the
difference lies, but it doesn't appear significant. Getting that
average multiplier is absolutely vital though as the game is totally
horrid with a sub-average multiplier. Of course it helps to be dealt
something worthwhile when the multiplier pops up. As someone aptly
pointed out "ten times nothing is still nothing". I got some big
multipliers for good hands on Sunday, but suspect the average
multiplier was not as high as advertised. Just for grins I'm going to
record the multiplier and hand every time it comes up when I play
tomorrow. Since the multiplier comes up only once every 15 hands the
time spent recording won't be too big of a hit and it'll allow me to
more accurately gauge the value of the multiplier.
