I was at the Majestic Star yesterday. They were removing 18 VP machines
at the rear of MS2 2nd floor. I asked the mechanic what they were
doing. He said they were taking the machines out. I asked what they were
putting in their place. He said that they were not being replaced, the space
will be empty. Slot mechanics are not the best source of information, but time
will tell.

Chaos at the Star … I was there yesterday and almost everything I usually play was either gone, or moved and not yet reactivated in a new location. On Star I, the .25 progressive circle remains intact, as does the .25 DBAF circle nearby. On Star II, the .25 STP Double Bonus machines are still where they were, and so are the 4 or 5 “9/6” machines in the .25./.50/1.00 circle. Nothing else is where it was.
A lot of the machines involved in what a sign on Star II calls an “upgrade” are old, so I guess we can hope that the .25 BDW, 8/5/35 BP and the 9/6 combos along the wall will reappear somewhere, but, based on past history, that’s probably unrealistic.
