service being reprogrammed. The personnel said they didn't know why.

No. Something bad is happening at the Star. Since last week, dozens of
decent machines at all levels have been messed with. Yesterday I
noticed a new batch of change orders taped to out of service machines
on Star I. I'm pretty sure they're not upgrading the pay tables.

With the exception of the $5/$25 games I mentioned about a week ago,
it appears that everything else has been trashed on the MS2. The MS1
appears to be going through the same thing. The games on the back
wall of the bar have been completely trashed. I have not been able
to check the Spin Poker Deluxe but everything else on that wall has
been trashed. The 1c 100 play on themain floor have been trashed. As
of yesterday morning the 25c 3/5 plays included the one $2 game at
the front of the room (10 machines) and the single lines back to
back with them are out of service and being removed. I hope
something survives below the $5 level.
