majestic star focus group

Thanks for asking for our input. Maybe they invited you because you haven't
played alot recently and they wnat ot know how to get you back. I'll look
forward to your report about the focus group.

I agree that D & M's is no longer too cold, but too smelly and muggy. Also,
I have a problem with D & M's most of you don't have but it keeps me from
playing there for more than about 10 minutes at a time. I am a woman about 5'5".
In order for me to play the bar tops (also too sticky) I have to stand on the
railing or sit on my feet on the stool to see the screens. Even then I only
get the top part of the screen and can't see the whole thing. It is distracting
and annoying as well as uncomfortable.

I don't know how they could remedy the situation as the bar top is
constructed that way, but I do not believe I am the only VP player affected ( or
effected?) by this. Maybe a bank of progressive $ freestanding?

Non smoking vp room with good inventory would be most wecome.

You're not the only one experiencing problems with the bartop
ergonomics. I'm 5'10" and have the same problem. It's impossible to be
comfortably seated and be positioned to get a clear view of the whole
screen. Like you I'm always leaning forward on the edge of my seat.
You can't avoid supporting yourself by either laying your arms flat on
the sticky bartop (which is liable to give you a rash if not wearing
long sleeves) or leaning to one side and propping your head up while
elbow is on bartop. All of these positions are umcomfortable and very
fatigueing. Due to a bad rotator cuff I've had sessions that had to be
terminated due to the pain. All totally unneccessary with a better
bartop design. Add to that day old beer which smells like puke
collecting in a bucket under leaking draft spigots and you've got an
experience that most people can say no to.

I agree. This is a very poorly designed bar. It's difficult for the bartender to even reach to give you your drink. It's difficult to see and operate your machine. No wonder some complain about it being unclean. You can't reach from the other side to clean it off.
