Majestic Star 2 "9/6" machines.

Yes, all 16 of those "9/6" machines have a very tiny hard to read sticker
that indicates that it takes $100 to earn 1 point. They sure do not want
anybody who plays those games to be a platinum or access member. If you play
those games exclusively "access" would take $1,000,000 coin in every six
months or 800,000 hands at quarters. That is effectively twice what you
would need for 7 stars at Harrah's. I suspect that this will blow up in the
suit's faces as it will alienate many customers (This tactic increases their
hold by 67-1/2 cents per hours versus a 600 hands per hour player.).

On a related note, look at the picture of the tic-tac-toe chicken just
before and left of the rewards club desk. Just to the left of it is an
advertisement for the buffet which is a picture of fried chicken!

The $100 a point is definitely overkill. A $20 or even $40 rate would create a cb ratio closer to that used by Stations in LAS (and that's applied only on 100%+ machines. I guess we'll have to wait a month or two see if promo is also affected.
