Majestic comps and cash back

You can of course adjust your comp rates based on competitive
pressures, cash flow or simple greed, but if you want to inspire
customer loyalty, treat all your players fairly and equally. Too many
desirable customers stop showing up if you constantly mess with them.

Jay, your statement above makes sense but there one glaring counter argument: HARRAHS.

Harrah's has the most confusing slot club of all time. They do not treat customers fairly and equally.
Nobody who works at Harrahs is capable or willing to explain their program. Yet Harrah's counts on
customer loyalty to retain their market share.

I won't even list all the mystery encounters with Harrahs. Yet their casinos are full and they are looking
to buy more.

I believe MS miscalculated the BB and paid out way more than they planned to and then over adjusted. MS has done
more to encourage video poker play that any other casino I can think of. I'm going to remain a customer but will
probably play less until they get the system worked out.

I agree that the Majestic offers the best VP around --- by far. So
maybe a consistent even-handed BB program to enchance the product is
too much to ask?
