Majestic 9/6 Question

I visited the Majestic2 today, and it looks to me like those 9/6 machines require $100 (400 quarters) to earn one point.

That does not seem right as both my mom had 78 points and I had 73 points
last Sunday playing only those machines. This was per the kiosks so the
display on the machines might be different. Not a chance that either of us
played over $7,000 coin in. We played the 2nd and 3rd from the right (Sticky
button problem on the rightmost machine.). After getting our bus promo cash
(If we were only getting 1/10 of regular points we would not have qualified
for this promo.) we played the leftmost two machines in the ten 25c machine
bank. My mom played only NSUD and I played a bit of JW2 and TDB but mostly
NSUD.

I will recheck this next Sunday (New Year's day) and confirm at the rewards
club desk.

Note: regular cards now only get 1/2 cent per point. Access and platinum get
1c per point.

Thank you:

I was there last night as well and there are stickers on the games that $100 = 1 point. I asked to speak with a supervisor and a slot manager arrived. When asked about the points on these games she said that their VP of Slots said that he was going to provide the better paytables we have asked for, but that we would not get full point earnings due to the low hold's. Basically that we would have to chose if we wanted the full pay games with almost no same day cash back.
I am still holding out to see what the VLT market brings to the Illinois bars, but from what I have heard from friends looking at purchasing games is that they will be modified poker paytables that will be horrible. Most of my friends that own bars said they were leaning to video slots over the poker games.

Ouch! That is a problem for me as my mom and I take the bus from the Lincoln Village area. To get back the $20 in promo (bus fare is $15) you normally need 10 points which would be $1,000 (800 hands) coin in. For now, I will note that where needed in the database.

I have placed notes in capital letters in the Majestic Star 2 Slot Club database and the machine listings for the three banks of machines affected.

Those like myself who use the bus promo will have to run $100 through one of the other machines.

By the way, I believe that there is no chance that the bar VP will be any good in IL and might not even be what Indians call "Class III".
