Majestic 2

Some of the 25c 3/5/10 play have 7/5 bonus as well. Since I only play NSUD
on those it has not mattered yet. Trump has always played games on the
older 3/5 play. Super Aces is 8/5 on two of those but quads pay 40 not 50.
Also some 9/6DDB like that as well. (SF=100 does not help enough)

Resorts has totally rearranged they're VP. Double Down Stud with bad
paytables is MIA. The ridiculously volatile Fast Action is also MIA. The $1
10/6 SF=40 DDB (99.96%) is now on the 2nd Floor. Beware that $2 games are
short pay while some $1 games are good. The 1st floor dungeon still has the
eight 25c games with NSUD and 9-5 TB+. The 9-6 DDB 5 way progressive is now
nearer the cashier on the 3rd floor. The progressive down there is
mis-labelled as it still shows bonus deuces. (Actually a slightly better
regular deuces but still the lowest reset % of the four choices.)
If anyone else goes there, please post changes I missed.

MJ 2 Update (formerly the Trump):
As of Saturday 12/24/05 I noticed the 25 cent 3/5 play multigame have a
downgrade for Bonus Poker as follows: Some of the machines have been

changed

to 7/5 payouts. The remaining are still 7/5 but the two pair is short

pay

at one coin instead of two coins. In both cases I played the machines
without looking at the pay tables as I have many times in the past.

Guess

···

you really have to be careful before you feed the machines.

Looks like Majestic is choosing to reward their customers with yet
more reductions. As if slashing coupons wasn't bad enough Majestic now
seems to be going the paytable reduction route both on the Star and
the newly acquired Trumps. A move from successfully competing locally
to not successfully competing vs. Vegas. Sounds like we have a
candidate for executive of the year. NOT!

Have fun guys. I'm treated better in Vegas. Unless BB/CB return to
their former levels I'm done with these guys. If you feel the same
(and I know many do) you should "vote with your feet" and simply put
your vp dollars in play at Vegas.

I just got my Jan. coupons, and after putting $50k through in Dec. I
got....$10 coupons x 4 ! I'm getting $20 /week from Empress after a
few hours on their .25 NSUD. Majestic has totally lost their mind.
After running through $20k on one visit without any comps and then
$10k+ on the next visit, I was told I had $10 in comps available. I
think nbi is right...Vegas Baby!

Jan Coupons, me 2 X $75 she 2 X $50. (similar FP, and 3 5X points
days that are on dates BB cash is available)
Dec Coupons me 3 X $50, she 3 X $100.

We make 2 or 3 trips a months, and about 20K each trip.

If we save all this month's BB, we can buy 1 ticket to LV as well as
avoid $6 in tolls each trip. But we lose our saving on Indiana gas
and Cigs. I remember the old days when MS would pay for our tolls.

Question from a newbie...how do you find out about the 5X points days
(or any kind of extra points days like that)? Will they tell you at
the casino, or is it in the mail you get? And out of curiosity, when
are the 5X points days in January? (I only recently got a card there
and probably wouldn't be getting any mail from them anyway at my
minuscule level of play). Thanks in advance!

I'm by no means a high, medium, or low level player. I'm what I call
a "Pathetic roller" this means that three-four times a year I'll have
an extra $60 that I can spend at a casino. I've put at least $1000
thru the MS (via VP, Craps and 21) and get nothing from them.

I've given Joliet's Empress exactly $140 this year, and have not had a
winning session (excpt a small one, at of all things, roulette, which I
tried out of curiosity. I think I came away with $20). The Empress
has nothing much at my level of play -- no $5 tables, and no nickle or
penny VP with good paytables. Yet, every month I get stuff from the
Empress (last month I got postcards for three different promotions),
and yet I get not a thing from the MS.

I'm tempted to play exclusively at the Empress, because the MS doesn't
seem to value my patronage.

I should re-phrase this... when I say "put through" that means my
bankroll, and any additional winnings I've played.
The starting bankroll this year for the MS is probably a total of
$300 for the 4-5 times I've gone.
