Subject: Main Street Station

Just finished a Vegas trip and I stayed at Main Street Station.
While it is true that playing any quarter slot and VP will get you
one point for every $1 coin-in, there is one exception. The slant-
top FPDW machines (3 ea) are actually considered 5 cent machines.
You can set the pay to quarters but the points will accumulate at
one point for every $2 coin-in. I tested the point accumulation
versus coin-in and verified the $2 coin-in requirement. Suggest
someone else verify this so that the database can be updated. I
have been keeping track of scratch card results and have noticed a
significant decline in scratch card value. Each new trip to Vegas
seems to be worse than the prior trip. Based on several trips, my
results show only 5% of the scratch cards are $5, 10% are $3 and 85%
are $1. Is anyone else showing the same results?

On a recent trip where I obtained 24 cards, the ave was about $2.50. The
three denominations were $5, $3, & $2. I think the breakdown was three $5, four $3
& 17 $2. Did not have any $1. Played the 5-play quarter Bonus Poker & had a
horrible streak of 43 3-of-a-kinds (215 hands) in which I got only one
4-of-a-kind. Was going to play to the point level advised for room comp only, about
$3000/day. Played for my mom who was staying there, however after a very poor
session of about 2.5 hrs, bagged it & limped out with my tail & bankroll chopped
off.

Earlier played the 50-cent BP bank w/RF prog which made it barely positive.
Similar result on 4 OAK. Moved on to the 5-play BP because pts were slow in
accumulating & I had only one night to play.
