Main Street Station VP Question

Will be staying 2 nights at MSS next week.
Are there any FP Games other than FPDW in which one is penalized when it come to points? For example is one penalized for playing FP DB or JOB? Any other information regarding their comp formulas would be appreciated as well.

Hello JIM
We have just stayed at MSS 3 nights last week and there is alot of full pay. JOB at the bar, DB on some slant tops, BP is 8/5 and there is quite a bit of that. I did not see any full pay FPDW. They have downgraded that. I understand that they are a little stingier with comps though we had no problem getting meals and we also stayed 4 nights at California. They are pretty generous with comps and have full pay JOB/DB/FPDW. I play at the $.25 level for the most part but at MSS the JOB is FP for $.50 and $1.
Have a great time and tell the slot hosts/drink hosts we said hello.
I can't answer for the point stuff.

At MSS, you are not being penalized for playing fpdw. Instead,
their system has a built-in penalty for any play on any game on any
multi-denominational machine where you play at a denomination higher
than the lowest available on that machine. The 6 slant tops with
fpdw offer the fpdw choice only at the quarter level, but the MD
machine's lowest denomination is a nickel so that's the level at
which you will earn cashback regardless of what game or denomination
you choose to play.

In my experience the same is true on all their MG/MD machines
thoughout the casino. For instance, on their MG/MD's offering 9/6
JB and 10/7 DB as options with 25/50/$ denomination options, you
will earn cashback at the .25 rate regardless of what game and
denomination you choose.

Finally, despite the lousy cashback deal on the multies, you do earn
full credit on all machines for your actual coin-in so that you will
earn full comp credit for your play at any denomination on any game.

my last visit or are they still at .10% with machines
that are $1 or higher paying .15%? If they have been
changed and are higher.....that is great news.

Cashback hasn't changed. Pete is saying that you earn
points at the 25c rate ($1 coin-in = 1 point) on MD

Badly worded, Steve. I meant that you'll earn cb based on the
quarter (.25) level of play on that MD machine regardless of what
game or denomination you have chosen to play. For example, if you
play $ JB, you will only earn cashback AS IF you were playing at
the .25 level. Put as simply as I can, you will earn cashback at
MSS on a multi-denominational machine at the rate consistent with
the lowest denomination offered on that machine regardless of the
game and denomination at which you have chosen to play.

The current cashback rate for video poker at MSS is----

for nickels 1/2 point per $ played (.05%)

for quarters 1 point per $ played (.10%)

for .50 and higher 1 1/2 point per $ played (.15%)

Right you are, Tom. It's amazing how ineptly this PhD in English
can manage to state things on more occasions than I'd like to
admit.

BTW, a minor adjustment needed - your Stardust database entry has on
the initial box correctly notes the 5c 5-play 9/6 JB. But on the
next Stardust page with details, you have that noted as only 4-
play.
