Its almost comical how a simple thing like a natural four of a kind can get
confusing IF the employee was told "no wild cards". This, of course, refers to
no wild card can be used to make up the qualifying quad.

Over the years, I have had more than one employee at different casinos take a
second look and "ponder" when I got a natural quad but just happened to have
the deuce as the fifth card. In all these examples, I was on a FPDW game.

I solved this is some of the places where I was a regular. As I put my light
on to signal for verification of the natural quad, I put my hand over the
deuce to hid it from view. The employees seemed much more responsive to seeing
just the four card making up the natural quad than had I let them see the fifth
card deuce.

I've hit FPDW straight flushes at MSS as follows:

2s 3s 4s 5s 6s

2d 3d 4d 5d 6d

Two straight flushes, with the wild deuce suited to the rest of the
SF. The first time I hit this hand, the floorperson gave me a
scratch card, agreeing with me that it was irrelevant that the deuce
was a wild card, as even if it wasn't, I'd still have a straight
flush.

The second time, a very terse floorperson responded "No scratch
card. No wild cards" to every justification/explanation I attempted
to make.

Ah, the minutae of it all.

I have got those straight flush naturals and got a scratch card every time, but i know most of the change ladies who give them out.most of the cards are worth 2$ so take it from there if its worth fighting over. CLEVGS
