Small casino with friendly staff. Wide variety of VP, FPDW, Super
Aces, Double Bonus, JOB all in .25. WEll maintained inventory.

Dislikes

Triple 7 Brew Pub, that has great food and beer is ALL smoking.
Usually not problem to me unless it get crowded.

Hotel comments

Rooms are small and lackluster given that the hotel is new. One
side has the train, the other the highway. Even on the highest
floors you can hear the roar of the highway. The other side has the
train but a high floor helps somewhat in this case.
I prefer the train side & have switched rooms if I'm on the highway
side.
One solution I have to deal with noise is to put the fan/AC/heat on
high. Very nice white noise!
Suites (14) are all on freeway side. Nothing special with two rooms
+ coffee maker and two TVs.

Restaurant comments

All good. Buffet needs to put out new dishes & chinese food is not
good. Pullman Grill is a wonderful gourmet resturant.

Discretionary comp experiences

Guidelines for silver card is $6,000 a day with non gourmet food +
room. Gold is $10,000 a day with full RFB. I average about $6,5000
but I've gotten gold several times. I'm very pleased with them
since they lay out what the benifits are. Hosts are accessible; just
go to Players Club and they'll page one if someone isn't there.
Even if I am on silver I ask and can get a $40 comp to the Pullman.
They reduced the standard comp from $50 to $40 per person which is a
disappointment.

I've been able to get a reservation through a host and then add on
the double point offers if I get them in the mail.

11 days to my next trip there!!!

Various positive VP machines throughout casino. Score for 4 promo
puts NSUD and JOB into positive territory. JOB at the bar while
sipping microbrew! Overall casino layout is nice and "classy"
looking. Buffet is perhaps the best downtown. Lots of offers for
out of towner on minimal (2500 - 3000 per day) play. Skywalk over to
Cal is nice in bad weather.

Dislikes

Rooms are noisy, and have low shower heads (I'm only 6' tall and
still have to bend over to wash hair). They don't guarantee non-
smoking rooms, even on an invited offer. No sportsbook or coffee-
shop (though skywalk to Cal makes it almost as if they do).

Hotel comments

Room and shower comments mentioned above.

Restaurant comments

Pretty good buffet. Never had Pullman. Wish they low cost coffee
shop.

My first play here was 3 hours of $5 BJ. Got the pitboss to comp me
2 Seafood buffets ($30 value!). That started the offers rolling...
