Harrahs Lake Tahoe currently offers $1000 Macy's gift cards that can be
redeemed using comps. These were so popular they were flooded with requests for a
grand total of three for the year.
So next year they will be bringing back the $200 gift cards. No idea of the
redemption rate.
Notes:
--Some Macys have allowed the purchase of smaller denomination gift cards.
--My wife says that the 10% discount sometimes offered with a credit card
purchase is not allowed with a gift card & that gift cards are not allowed in
paying off credit card balances.
