When I win a jackpot that doesn't require a hand-pay I tip a little to the
cashier. I am still not a professional and still enjoy doing that.

This is why you and I are good friends, dear girl! I do the same
thing.

When I've been fortunate, I like to share my good luck with others,
even if they had absolutely nothing to do with the event.

In the summer of 2006, at the Peppermill in Reno, I was fortunate to
snare a bunch of royals in one short trip. The machines that I was
playing were all TITO, and did not lock up. Each time I went to the
cashier to collect on my $1,000+ ticket, I gave the cashier either a
$10.00 or $20.00. I was playing in an area near the cashier's cage.
After my second cash-in/tip, I noticed that they were observing me as
I played. I could literally sense that they were rooting for me. It
gave me a nice, warm feeling.

This is one of aspect of being rec player, that I really love. I don't
need to be concerned about "giving away" too much of my edge, if I
feel that I want to tip generously.

In that spirit I wish everyone on the board a joyful T Day!
