Sounds like you actually got in trouble because you tried to "hide"
malfunction with piece of paper which was first thing people noticed. You would have
been better off to play machine on and off with wife, friend, etc., then cash
out, and come back next day and try not to overuse machine. If anyone noticed
- just be surprised. By covering up the readout with a paper you looked
guilty of something and brought extra attention to the machine. Eye in sky might
have noticed paper lying oddly on machine and pointed it out to supervisors.
If you don't get any cashback you should definitely write Casino Control
Commisson - I'm surprised they didn't have any representatives in casino at that
time. (Is that legal?)
