I was at M/S last night at 10pm for the progressive sweepstakes, which last
night was at 20K. The postcard states the 1K will be added if no one wins the
20K.
Today, at 10am I got my new postcard for the next sweepstakes drawing on 7-6.
It says I have a chance to win (up to) 21K. A mere 12 hours later. I don't
think they could have mailed the postcards in Indiana on Tues night and it would
have possibly arrived in my Skokie mail 12 hours later.
How did they know no one would win? Or do you think it does not matter if the
sweepstakes had been reset at 10K, the card would still read "win up to 21K"?
"Up to" being the operative, if misleading, phrase?
