M.S. Players Club

Hi folks,
At the risk of looking stupid, here goes my question.

I live in Maine and take care of my 86 year old mother who has Alzheimer's.
She moved in with me and my husband 6 years ago. About every 6 weeks, I bring
her to her home in CT for a visit with my brother. She lives 30 minutes from
the casinos so I spend as much time as I can there during the evenings while my
brother is home to "baby-sit".

So about once every 6 weeks, I spend about 15 to 20 hours playing VP at
Mohegan Sun. (Say 3 or 4 sessions, each around 5 hours long.) I usually play 8/5
Bonus Poker, 25 cent machines, although I am thinking of graduating to the 50
cent machines at my next visit. I average around 600 hands per hour, according
to my tutorial software.

I have never joined the Players Club. I guess one reason is I have a kind of
"Big Brother Is Watching" attitude about it. I am wondering if given my level
of playing if there is any advantage in joining the Players Club? What kind of
benefits would there be for someone who plays at my level, if any?

Thanks for your help!

Cathy

You should join. I've been a Player Club member for several years
with no bad experiences. With the amount of time you play, you should
accumulate a goodly amount on your card. Each point = $1.00. I've
used my many times at the restuarants and to buy gas on the way home.

Hi Cathy. Based on $1.25 X 600hph X 15 Hours = $11,250. The comp
rate for quarters and halves is 1 point for every $180 in play. You
should make about $63 in comps for that time. That's not including
the point, show and goodie offers. It's a no-brainer, sign up for
the card. -Russ

Out of curiosity what tutorial software are you using?

I've been using WinPoker for several years and I think it's made me
a better VP Player. Of course, if there's another good one around
I'd be interested. One of the things I like about MS relative to
FW is that MS has several VP bartops. As far as VP goes, FW is the pits.

(Of course in comparison to the pay tables out in LV, neither
of these places can compare for VP.)
