M-life equivalent of caesars's diamond? (& DIAD)

I'm no expert on the Mlife program, but I'll take a stab at this
hoping others will correct and add to what I write.

I don't think there's anything equivalent to DIAD at the MGM
properties. And no free shows just for having a certain card level,
but you can get show tickets by using either Express Comps or the
additional comps you can get from a host.

The qualifying period for the card levels is Oct 1 - Sept 30 and
whatever card level you earn during that year is good till Sept 30 of
the following year. For example, whatever status you earn during
10/1/12-9/30/13 will be good through 9/30/14.

You probably already looked at the tier benefits for each card level,
so you already know which ones get line passes and priority valet
service and restaurant reservations. If not they are here
https://www.mlife.com/pages/tier_benefits_las_vegas.html

Overall, I'd say that the Las Vegas MGM properties have better video
poker than the Caesars properties, so you should have no problem
finding games to play at $1 or higher.

hi there,

my caesars diamond in a day (DIAD) is expiring at the end of this month ... i'm looking at renewing it using VP (probably with two days' worth of play and the new tier bonus system), but before i do, i'm wondering if i shouldn't cross the street to M-life ...

i'm local, so my reasons for wanting diamond might be a bit different than the average card holder ... here's what i like about (and why i have) a casears diamond -- in order:

* free use of caesars property spas (yeah, yeah, not CP)

* the ability to park in any valet, even when "full"

* the ability to cut lines for WSOP registration and restaurants

* monthly free shows

i truly could not care less about any of the other amenities or benefits.

i'm not deeply familiar with the M-life levels, and a quick scan of their website doesn't show a 1-to-1-onto mapping of the four things i've listed above ... which means i have two questions:

1. is there an M-life equivalent of diamond that will give me any/all of the perks i've listed above? (ignorning WSOP since that's a casears brand.)

2. if so, what's the quickest/least expensive way to hit that level and how long would it last?

thanks in advance for any/all information ... even just well educated guesses,

m.

There is not a direct equivalent, but the Mlife Gold is similar to the TR Diamond status. You have to get to Platinum before priority valet and taxi access is officially added, although I have received priority access with a Gold card in the past. However, based on your list I'd suggest renewing your Diamond status instead of going to Mlife. Mlife doesn't automatically offer what you want. Their tiered system is fairly new and only offers a few automatic perks.

I just renewed my Diamond status last week with 2 days of 2500+ Tier and bonus tier points. I played triple play BP, hitting 2 lines of AAAA early on and managed to renew Diamond while making some money.

I agree with everything Mark stated below--there is no exact
comparable between TR Diamond and MLife.......however, as a MLife Platinum we regularly receive offers for 2-3 comped nights, $200+ free play and anywhere from $50-$150 in food comps. . . . .we mainly focus on Mirage and MGM Grand however once in awhile NYNY and other properties will send a similar or better offers. We also get offers for almost every headliner & sporting event to include the room, also. For example--last year we sat in the 10th row to watch Jimmy Buffet. We've gone to Wine Tasting events, Comedy shows--Brad Garrett's, stayed in gorgeous suites and just got back from a "free" 5 day cruise in an outside stateroom. (total cost including tips was $300 for both of us--Noir gets free 7 day cruise for 2 people) We feel that we get more "bang for our buck" so to speak at MLife to the point that this year we're going to cut back our TR play and up the MLife play for both of us. . . . .
