In September, M Resort had some 4x point days in their mailers. 4x points equals 1.2%. Doing the math, the $1 8/5 BP 10 play was worth around $135 per hour. And there were other games that had a higher percentage return.
Another example of poor planning by the casino. I personally thank M for providing wonderful earning opportunities in this difficult economic
environment!!

Yup..let's not forget the mailers. .37 + up to $3K/month in free play coupons. I play them very occasionally. I had I think 6 4x days on my mailer, if I make 2 of them I'll be surprised.
Actually, what M has done is fairly intelligent. Systemically make things tighter, and also systematically identify unprofitable customers until an equilibrium is reached. At the same time, they can show potential investors some pretty impressive numbers.
Look, most of the pros should have no complaints. You overplayed the good stuff, like they expected you to do, you got your EV, you won't have to worry about beating them again. This is a main reason why I play very little in Vegas, even though I'm officially a Vegas resident (that, too and the competition). Especially in this trying economic climate, the casinos aren't going to let you beat them, especially when some suit's job may be on the line. Too many of these places are just no win for me.
