Just a comment...

Those of us who do the VP "thing", get to "share" our SSN with casinos
for a measly $1200, not the $3500 mentioned in this article.

Here's a question. Let's say you play at the $1 level and buy into
your TITO machine for $1,000 - If you cash out for $1201, are you
required to fill out any paperwork for a $201 win or do you just cash
your ticket out at the ticket machine?

Paperwork is required for a single win that is $1200 or more. If you cash out for 1200 made up of
several wins it would not create any paperwork.

I have cashed out several large tickets (more than $1200) at casinos
all around and never had anyone question it except about 5 years
ago - and they wanted to do a tax form and I told them it did not
require one. She got her supervisor over who agreed with me. Never
had the issue come up again.

Paperwork is required for a single win that is $1200 or more. If
