LVSun - Tattoo parlor set to open at LV Palms

"I read somewhere that only 3% of the population have tatoo(s) and 50%of them would rather have them removed rather than adding another. Also. Fact -- a cousin of mine is a Psychiatrist, working for the State of Nevada. He tells me that over 75% of ALL inmates in the Psychiatric State Hospital have tatoos. Draw whatever conclusions you desire."

I understand the 'traditional' opinions regarding tatoos. But the fact today is
(at least for myself) that I'm in many major business meetings all the time,
with my four Aces/Route 66 tatoo on my lower arm & dollar sign on the thumb
constantly getting seen. Hasn't hurt me. I won't get more because I believe 3
is enough. But I will never delete them either.

I think it's safe to say that while 75% of Psychos might have tatoos, 75% of
the best looking women in Vegas also have them.

Obviously, To each his own.
I have never seen a leading statesman or world leader with a visible
tatoo nor have I seen any on business executives either. This does
not mean that they don't have any but they are not visible.

I, personally, feel that they are in bad taste. To pay money to
someone to permanently mar your body is not something that I would do
and since there are many like me (old fashioned) , it is possible that
employement opportunities may have been lost due to visible tatoos.

Mike Tyson has them on his face. A VERY upstanding example.
