I think it's a great idea. Besides, I remember last week where a comment by one
of our famous video poker players mentioned the savvy of George Maloof. Tatoos
aren't just for the bad guys any more, or something drunken sailors get while
on 24-hr. leave at exotic ports. My daughter - like many young girls these
days - has a couple, and I even have 3. Based on the crowd that frequents
Palms, I'd say it's the smartest move Maloof's made since putting in positive
EV video poker machines.

Personal Opinion.
I cannot imagine why anyone would want permanent graffiti applied by a
storefront artist.

I don't have a problem with anyone getting tattoos (well, maybe if I
had a 13-yr old kid ...), but I freaked a little the first time I met
someone with "implants". (I'm not talking saline here ... metal
imbedded until the skin as a self-expression of art.)
There's little that fazes me, but I really thought I was going to lose it.
Let's pray that Palms doesn't decide to get THAT "prgressive".

That's about the way I see it, too, ... but to each their own.

Getting such a tattoo could be considered risk-taking behavior. Even
if one didn't cognitively consider it too risky, it could be
experienced that way on an emotional or symbolic level. And as we
well know, each person has a risk thermostat, & if the overall
perceived risk level of their life situation is too high *or* too
low, DNA demands that action must be taken.

I read somewhere that only 3% of the population have tatoo(s) and 50%
of them would rather have them removed rather than adding another.
Also. Fact -- a cousin of mine is a Psychiatrist, working for the
State of Nevada. He tells me that over 75% of ALL inmates in the
Psychiatric State Hospital have tatoos. Draw whatever conclusions you
desire.

backside.
