They're real high for the week in December when my wife and I want to go. I think they want something like $425 from Philadelphia to Las Vegas. For that kind of cash, we'll go to Atlantic City.

It certainly has a lot do with how welcome visitors are made to feel. One of
the most startling coincidences is how Newark-to-Las Vegas airfares climb
crazily the second week of November, right around the time of the NJEA
convention (which is in Atlantic City).
