We were in Wendover over the weekend. What a mess in both those casinos but
Stateline most of all. When we got there on Friday all the slot machines had
their insides exposed with construction tape around them. They were changing the
locks and doing whatever else they had to do inside. By the time we left on
Sunday almost all of them were running.
I won over $200 playing craps on Friday night while they were teaching the
dealers!!! It seemed like almost all of the staff were new and many of them
(including the dealers) did not speak English with any competency.
Even though we were staying at the Stateline we did most of our gaming at the
Peppermill.
