The new Promotions Manager has saved them a lot of money in the short term by reducing locals mailers and eliminating any worthwhile promotions. I wonder how much business they’ve driven away in the process. In his defense, he may have been forced to make these cuts from above.

Have to agree. Here is my monthly average coin in for the past 9 months:

Sept-Dec 2013 = $88.6K

Jan-Feb 2014 = $42.8K

Mar 2014 = $22.5K
Apr-May 2014 = $0

No promotions = no play…really simple

I agree that cutting back on marketing will hurt them in the long run. I heard they hired some analysts a few months ago to find out how to be more profitable. Expanding the Sunday Rehab pool party to Saturday was a no-brainer.
