It sounds messy to me.
Think it would work if they stuck with raw veggies and fruit (my type of food) or even other small things. A friend played at a casino in Phoenix that wheeled a cart with comped donuts and coffee for the diehards still there in the AM. I think it's a good idea, especially when I see people staggering and wonder if they're going to drive.
